Renewable energy and increasing the energy efficiency of products are examples of the carbon neutral solutions that form the impetus for this group of engineers who have overseen the design, development and testing of numerous prototype engines for automotive and truck manufacturers in North America, Europe and Asia. Recently they’ve consulted for firms developing algae and seed-based biodiesels, wind power, advanced turbo charging, distributed power systems and next generation small engines. In partnership with CSU’s Engines and Energy Conversion Lab, as well as the university’s Engineering and Business Schools, they’re developing hydraulic hybrid kits for heavy-duty vehicles. They have one system running and are finishing the build on their second generation technology.
