Today's technology startups will have to overcome many hurdles while building their company and taking their ideas to market. One of the most vital services a community can provide its young entrepreneurs is advice and mentoring by seasoned business and technical professionals. Today, RMI2 has over 80 volunteer advisors who understand the value of giving their time to support these potential high growth companies. We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our network.RMI2 seeks advisors with expertice relevant to scientific, clean energy and technology startup businesses. These mentors are people who have demonstrated knowledge, experience and lessons learned that can be helpful to entrepreneurs. Our hope is that our advisors will themselves have been a successful entrepreneur, executive, senior manager, industry or functional expert who is motivated to share their knowledge and contacts with our startups to help them succeed.
Where we could use your help...
- Advisory boards: RMI2 staff will look to our advisory network to assist our entreprenuers in formulating their advisory boards.
- Individualized advisory services: RMI2 advisors are called on to assist entrepreneurs with a variety of topics on an informal and as-needed basis.
- SAGE Program: This program allows screened advisors to meet monthly in a group setting to advise an early stage startup. We are looking for advisors who will be available for 12 months or more and can attend at least a third of the monthly meetings with an interest in getting closely aligned with one or more of the SAGE entrepreneurs.
